Yoga with Vivian

Vivian is an international 500 hour Yoga Alliance qualified Yoga teacher.

She is an inspiring yogi who loves guiding people into deep dynamic Vinyasa flows, with an emphasis on the importance of moving with breath and intention and enjoying the movement rather than looking a certain way. Vivian’s objective is to empower her students to embrace their unique gifts, to tap into their intuition and own personal wisdom through the yoga practice.

Yoga Asana & Special Classes

Morning Yoga: Morning classes will be dedicated to dynamic Vinyasa inspired flows, where we will connect movements and breath in a sweaty and challenging practice.

Afternoon Yoga: Vivian will be guided by the desires and the energy of the group. We can use this time to do inversions, backbends, arm balances, breath work and slow and gentle flows. Vivian’s diverse trainings and modalities of movement allows us to try something new every day.

Additionally, there will be an optional workshop on the essentials of AcroYoga.

Acroyoga: It is a combination of yoga, acrobatics, and Thai massage. It’s a partner yoga practice designed to build trust, strength and connection while feeling like a dance. This form of yoga is about developing trust and discovering that sweet spot of opening up to curiosity, freedom and play.

Inversions: Inversions are an incredibly powerful way to see the world through new eyes. These poses engage the whole body and work synergistically to deliver benefits to both body and mind. This class focuses on building strength, control and stability, necessary to balance upside down. From beginner variations to more advanced drills, handstand practice is not only beneficial for upper-body and core strength, it also trains balance, body awareness, deep breathing, focus, and discipline.

*All practices will be accessible and easy to follow from beginners to more advanced yogis.

Our yoga deck is outside and spacious, with a steady ocean breeze. The yoga classes will be held in an outdoor covered yoga shala which is sun kissed & easily aired. Each guest will be provided a Manduka yoga mat which they will keep for the duration of the retreat and be responsible for its cleaning. The yoga deck will be cleaned daily and mats will be spread out keeping the recommended distance.
